Curtis Long is perhaps the most versatile voice and unique story among Alpha Media’s network family. A self-proclaimed “child of the 80s” who loves to use rapid sound clips throughout his sports updates on 750/102.9 The Game and FM News 101, Long has developed a strong following as the 5-year host of “Friday Night Live,” the area’s only local show dedicated to live scores and updates from every high school football game in Oregon and Southwest Washington. You’ll also hear him every Fall Saturday hosting a three-hour “Ducks GameDay” shift, putting his own spin on pre- or postgame Oregon Ducks coverage, where fans respond to his mix of game highlights and analysis with historic pop culture references. An elementary school principal by day at Spring Mountain Elementary in Happy Valley, “The Principal” worked on-air for both KATU and KGW-TV before earning his school administration license. A University of Oregon Broadcast Journalism graduate, he now enjoys trading recess duty for radio duty during evenings and weekends at Alpha Media!
