Former NFL Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion Dwight Hicks joined host John Canzano Thursday afternoon on The Bald Faced Truth to talk about his career and transition into acting.
Hicks was considered the leader of the San Francisco secondary. “I try to be humble but yes I was. I had all of a year in a half experience more than they had. Because I was a free safety I would make the adjustments on all our defenses if there need be, I was the leader of that gang.”
Hicks talked about watching Joe Montana play. “I would take a knee just to watch Joe Montana play on the sideline. I would not sit on the bench, I’d take a knee. I just loved to watch this guy play. He was one of a kind.”
