The NCAA Tournament venues for the 2019-22 seasons were announced on Tuesday and the Moda Center in Portland was selected as one of the hosts in three of the four seasons.

The women’s NCAA Tournament regionals will take place in Portland during both the 2019 and 2020 seasons while the men’s tournament will come in 2022. The 2019 regional will be played on March 29-April 1, and will take place from March 27-30 in 2020. It also marks the first time the state of Oregon will host the women’s regional since 2000, when it was played at Memorial Coliseum.

For the men’s tournament, it will be one of the eight locations for the first and second rounds of the tournament. The Moda Center also was a host venue for the 2009, 2012, and 2015 Men’s NCAA Tournaments.

The host school for these tournament games on both the men’s and women’s festivities will be Oregon State, and their athletic director Scott Barnes had this to say about the opportunity to be a part of the madness.

“Hosting one of the pinnacle events in intercollegiate athletics with our highly-respected local partners is an honor and privilege,” Barnes said in a school-issued release. “There is no match for the excitement of the NCAA Basketball Tournament and we are thrilled to have another opportunity to showcase our great university in the Portland Metro area.”
