Both the Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers are headed to the Big Dance, though with very different story lines.

The Lady Ducks are back in the Tournament for the first time since 2005, and are a number-10 seed in the Bridgeport Region, where 3-time defending national champion UCONN is the top-seed.  Oregon (20-13; 8-10 Pac-12) will open play against the 7-seed Temple Owls in Durham, NC on Saturday, March 18th (3:30pm, ESPN 2).  Oregon was also a 10-seed in their last tournament appearance twelve years ago, where they defeated 7-seed TCU before bowing out to eventual champion Baylor.

The Beavers are in a more familiar position, going back to the NCAA Tournament for a 4th straight year.  The postseason streak under Coach Scott Rueck followed a NCAA Tournament drought from 1996-2013.  OSU (29-4; 10-2 Pac-12) is a number-2 seed out of the Stockton, Calif. Regional and will open Tourney action at home in Corvallis against 15-seed Long Beach State on Fri., March 17th (2:00pm, ESPN 2).
