The Trojans rushed for 332 yards on the Beavers defense, and OSU missed a pair of opportunities in the 4th quarter in a 38-21 loss on homecoming Saturday night.

USC running back Aca’Cedric Ware rushed 17 times for 205 yards on a monster night, averaging over 12 yards a carry and scoring a touchdown.  Running back Vave Malepeai also produced 101 yards on 15 carries, a 6.7 average.

Jake Luton passed for 301 yards and a touchdown for the Beavers, but the rushing offense was limited to just 31 yards on 32 carries for under 1 yard per carry.  Running back Jermar Jefferson was limited to 58 yards on 18 carries (3.2).

The Beavers fall to 2-7 on the year, and 1-5 in Pac-12 play, after a wild comeback win in Boulder the previous week.

The Beavers hit the road to visit Stanford next week, a 6pm start time.
