Oregon basketball lost a high-profile recruiting battle for Cole Anthony on Tuesday morning, as Anthony made his decision live on ESPN’s “Get Up” morning show with host Mike Greenburg and parents Greg and Crystal McCray Anthony.

Anthony pushed his decision back numerous times before setting on the Tar Heels.  He figures to be an immediate impact player in Chapel Hill as coach Roy Williams anticipates losing point guard Coby White to the NBA.

As for Oregon, the Ducks still have a No.12 ranked recruiting class according to 247 Sports, highlighted by 4-star forward CJ Walker out of Orlando, Fla.
