An Oregon state representative is either extremely delusional or having a creatively good time.
State rep Eric Werner Reschke posited a bill on Monday that the Trail Blazers should change the franchise name to include the entire state. The motion is to call the team the “Oregon Trail Blazers” as opposed to their ridiculously exclusive “Portland” nomination.
The bill says that “Blazermania” affects citizens across the state and not just in one particular city.
So, we ask you, Rip City. Do ALL Oregonian Blazers fans matter? Matter enough for a name change?
