Huskies Bite bigger than their bark for second year in a row

Ducks get the ball first and come out and put together a pretty nice drive of almost 8 minutes to start the game against a tough Huskies defense. Oregon settles for a field goal. Ducks 3-0 Q1.

Huskies come out on their first possession with a nice drive down the field. Ducks defense comes up big.

Ducks come up with a big 3rd down stop. Huskies miss the field goal attempt on 4th down.

Ducks get the ball back and almost immediately make a huge mistake.

Benoit fumbles and the Huskies recover it and return it for a 12 yard gain.

Huskies offense back out and driving on the Ducks defense. Penalties hurt the Huskies on this drive as they end up kicking a field goal on this drive. Game tied 3-3 Q2.

Ducks driving again and can’t convert on a 3rd down and 6. Forced to punt the ball back to UW.

On the punt return…

Pettis takes it 64 yards to the house for TD. UW 10-3 Q2.

Oregon starts a drive at their own 6 yard line. Burmeister fumbles snap on 3rd down, Oregon recovers and will punt.

Huskies come back with a big play on offense.

34 yard TD run setup by a fake reverse. UW leads 17-3 just before halftime Q2.

Oregon gets the ball back and punts fairly quickly back to UW.

On the next drive UW looking to take advantage before halftime…

Brady Breeze makes a great defensive play picking off Jake Browning.

Oregon runs out the clock and heads into halftime down 17-3 End 2nd Q.



Start of 3rd Quarter

Huskies receive the ball after the half. They come out and pick up where they left off before halftime.

Browning finds Pettis deep down the field for a 47 yard TD pass. Huskies 24-3.

Ducks with the ball again after the UW score, and still can’t get anything going.

UW with the ball again and still doing damage.

Browning finds Coleman on a screen pass for a 31 yard TD. UW 31-3.

Oregon with the ball again and still just can’t get anything going on offense.  They punt it to UW again.

UW with the ball and on a 1st down play the UW offense strikes again.

Salvon Ahmed goes 58 yards on a run to the End zone. UW 38-3 Q3.

Ducks back on Offense again and starting to drive.

Freeman rushes 15 yards for the Ducks and a First down.

Next play on 1st down…

Burmeister is INTercepted by UW’s Tevis Bartlett. UW 38-3 Q4.

UW wastes some of the clock and gets stopped on 4th down by the ducks.

The Ducks run the clock out and fall back to .500 on the season.


End of Game UW 38 Oregon 3

The ducks are off next week then are back home for Arizona in two weeks. Ducks are now 5-5 needing to win 1 of their final 2 games to become bowl eligible.
