On Monday, Oregon State freshman running back Jermar Jefferson has been named the 18th Annual Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) Freshman All-America Team.  He was named as one of 32 players nationally to the FWAA Freshman All-America Team.  Jefferson broke the Oregon State single-season rushing record by a true freshman in 2018, a mark previously held by Jacquizz Rodgers with 1,380 yards. The 1,380 yards also ranks ninth nationally this season and he will finish the season as the leader among freshmen.
