Oregon-Stanford Kickoff set for 5pm on ABC on Sept. 22

The Ducks (2-0), currently ranked No.20 in the AP Poll, will host current No.9-ranked Stanford on September 22nd.  The Kickoff and TV details were released Monday morning – a 5pm kickoff from Autzen Stadium, nationally televised on ABC.

It will be the 82nd all-time meeting between the two schools with Stanford holding a 48-32-1 edge.  The teams have met only four previous times when both were ranked in the AP Top-25.

Oregon is a heavy favorite to improve to 3-0 when they host San Jose State this week.  The Spartans are 0-2 with losses at home to UC-Davis and a 31-0 shutout at Washington State this past week.

Stanford has wins over a stingy San Diego State squad and an impressive 17-3 win over then No.17 USC last Saturday.  Bryce Love exploded for 136 yards on 22 carries and a touchdown.  The Cardinal host UC-Davis this week.  The game vs the Ducks will be Stanford’s first road game of the year.

The national stage will be an opportunity to impress for Ducks quarterback Justin Herbert, who has ten total touchdowns (9 pass, 1 rush) through two games this season.

Tune in for Oregon College Gameday at 7am every Saturday, including this week’s Oregon College Football Show with Brian Perkins and Jordan Kent at 10am followed by Countdown to Kickoff with Judah Newby and Neil Lomax at Noon on 1029FM/750AM The GAME.
