Oregon Ducks junior guard Payton Pritchard (West Linn HS) was named to the 2018-19 Wooden Award Preseason Top-50 Watch List, it was announced Tuesday.

The Ducks are ranked No.14 in the Preseason AP-Top 25, and debut their loaded freshman class Tuesday night at home against Portland State in the regular season opener (8pm, Pac-12 Network).

Pritchard, who won four straight state titles at West Linn, averaged 13.5 points, 4.8 assists and 3.8 rebounds a game last season as a sophomore for the Ducks, who missed the NCAA Tournament.  Pritchard is a team-leader this season, which will be his third straight as a starting point guard.  His freshman year he helped the Ducks reach their first Final Four since 1939.

Earlier this week, much-hyped freshman Bol Bol earned some preseason recognition himself.  Fellow prized freshman forward Louis King and guard Will Richardson will figure to also contribute for the Ducks.
